Servette FC Partners With Gradient to Enhance Performance Analysis

Gradient is pleased to announce Servette FC as its newest club partner.

The Swiss club will integrate Gradient’s Physical Metrics and Off-Ball Run Data into its performance analysis workflows, with the ability to access the data through Gradient’s API and Epitome platform.

The partnership will provide Servette FC with deeper visibility into player movement, physical output and off-ball behavior across matches. By combining physical performance data with detailed information on the timing, location and characteristics of off-ball runs, the club will be able to build a more comprehensive understanding of how players influence the game both in and out of possession.

Gradient’s Physical Metrics use broadcast tracking technology to quantify key aspects of player movement, including sprinting, high-speed running, acceleration and distance covered. Each movement can be analyzed with additional context, including start and end coordinates, timestamps, duration and speed.

Off-Ball Run Data adds another layer of tactical insight by identifying and classifying player movement away from the ball. This enables clubs to evaluate how players create space, support teammates, stretch defensive structures and contribute to attacking sequences, even when they do not receive possession.

Servette FC will access these datasets through two complementary delivery channels. Gradient’s API will allow the club to integrate the data directly into its internal systems and analytical workflows, while the Epitome platform will provide users with a centralized environment for accessing and exploring Gradient’s data.
