Gradient Data to Support Marquee’s AI-Native Football Platform

Gradient is pleased to announce Marquee as its newest customer through a long-term agreement that will bring Gradient’s advanced football data into Marquee’s AI-native intelligence platform.
Marquee turns fragmented data into football decisions. It unifies external data, open-source intelligence and internal knowledge, filtering it through the club's unique sporting DNA. Acting like native members of their team, Marquee's AI agents help recruitment and analytics practitioners find players who best fit their club, generate 360° scout reports, and break down their own team and upcoming opponents in a fraction of the time. By automating much of their grunt work using natural-language workflows and advanced machine learning models, Marquee empowers every scout and analyst to do their best work.
By integrating Gradient’s data, Marquee will gain an enriched view of how players move, create space and influence the game.
Adding Movement Context to Football Intelligence
Gradient’s Physical Metrics provide detailed insight into the athletic demands and movement profiles of players, including speed, distance, acceleration and high-intensity activity.
Off-Ball Run Data adds another layer of context by identifying and classifying the movements players make away from the ball. These actions can reveal how players stretch defensive structures, create passing options, support teammates and contribute to attacking sequences without recording a traditional on-ball event.
Raw XY tracking data gives access to the underlying positional coordinates of players throughout matches, supporting the development of proprietary models and tailored analytical applications.
Together, these datasets allow a more complete representation of player performance, connecting physical output, positional behavior and tactical context.
Supporting Smarter Football Decisions
Modern football organizations have access to more information than ever, but turning that information into actionable intelligence remains a significant challenge.
Marquee is focused on reducing that complexity by bringing data, internal knowledge and club-specific frameworks into a unified environment. Gradient’s tracking-derived data will strengthen that foundation, helping Marquee deliver richer insights across player recruitment, squad planning and performance analysis.
The long-term agreement reflects a shared commitment to building scalable, forward-looking solutions for football decision-makers.
“We are excited to welcome Marquee as a Gradient customer,” said James Clarke-Reed, EVP of Club and Partner Solutions at Gradient. “Marquee is addressing one of the most important challenges in football: helping organizations move from having more data to making better decisions. By integrating our physical, off-ball and tracking data, Marquee can give its users an even more comprehensive understanding of player movement and performance.”
Dean Bracha CEO at Marquee: “Gradient's physical and movement data is exceptional, and it makes the insights we deliver even stronger. Bringing it into Marquee enriches every scout report, opposition analysis, and internal tactical breakdown our users generate, giving our clients across the globe an even sharper read on how players move, create space and shape a match.
The partnership represents another step in Gradient’s mission to provide the football industry with deeper, more meaningful ways to understand performance.
