Open Letter from the CEO: PFF FC rebrands to Gradient Sports

Dear Friends, Partners, and Champions of the Beautiful Game,
When we started PFF FC four years ago, I was struck by the passion, precision, and purpose that defined our team. Since then, we’ve worked hard to deliver world-class analysis, tools, and insights that elevate player evaluation, recruitment, and performance benchmarking across global football.
Today, I’m proud to share our next chapter: the launch of our rebrand to Gradient Sports.
From Spin-Off to Stand-Alone Strength
In June 2024, with full support from our friends at PFF, we spun off into an independent entity. More than a corporate milestone, it marked a bold step forward, giving us the freedom to move faster, innovate deeper, and serve clubs, leagues, and partners with greater agility. PFF’s ongoing support remains a vital part of our story, and we carry its legacy forward with pride.
Empowered by New Investment
Alongside our independence came a group of strategic investors who believe in our vision. Their backing has helped us expand our data footprint, accelerate product innovation, and grow our engineering, data collection, and analysis teams. That investment directly powers our ability to serve you better, with smarter tools, faster improvements, and richer insights.
Why “Gradient”?
Rebranding is more than a new name. It’s a signal of evolution. We chose Gradient because it perfectly captures our identity:
